Hi, I’m Joan.
I’m—a novelist, educator, and entrepreneur based in the New York metropolitan area. I’m an award-winning photojournalist with a passion for capturing untold stories, both behind the scenes and on the page. My short suspense fiction has been featured in various anthologies, I’m currently crafting a historical suspense series set during World War II—history and suspense are among my favorite combinations.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching English as a Second Language to students all around the globe, helping them express themselves with confidence through the English language. I’m also the proud author of Jamie is Autistic (available in both Spanish and English), and Go for It Leadership Handbook, which inspired me to launch a series of webinars focused on empowering future leaders.
My latest passion project, The Write Rules, is now part of the London Consortium of Libraries Collection—a true honor. I also work with professionals at all levels to train them in the art and nuance of entrepreneurship, combining communication, leadership, and strategic thinking.
You can learn more about my services throughout this site. Down the road, I’d love for you to join my email list for a free newsletter and a special communications article designed to help you grow and lead with purpose.
